Busy times at Affiliate Project
Apologies that posting here has been a bit scarce recently. We are currently really busy. We are holding down our regular jobs which have been really busy this week and we have been working hard on our project. Things are progressing. We may be close to launching another site. We’ll let you know once we have. We have also purchased another domain name. This one is more of a personal interest to one of us so it will be interesting to create and shape this new domain and we hope it will become a great resource for those that use it once it is up and running. We are still learning bit time. At the moment our biggest challenge is PHP and CSS. We are trying to become more skilled in PHP coding and this is taking a little while but we are getting there.
Affiliate Project’s first niche site produces some income
We have had a purchase through our first nice site www.powerplates.org.uk. We also know that the site is starting to attract traffic and visitors. We have been working hard to improve the SEO on the site to keep it high up on google and it is currently on the first page so we are pleased with that. We have also been busy keeping the site up to date. Some prices have changed and we have increased the products we offer and compare to keep up to date with the market. This can be time consuming and therefore we are looking at product feeds and how we can utilize them in the future. We have also purchased some further domains and are busy working those. We are still enjoying the affiliate business and are working hard in our spare time to maintain the project and move it forwards.
First Affiliate event
We’ve just signed up to go to our first affiliate event. It’s being held in London on March 26th. We found out about it on a affiliates4u forum and we look forward to meeting like minded people and others in the industry. We are hoping that we will have our first couple of sites up and running by then, hopefully making some money so we will feel like real affiliates. If you are going as well then let us know and we hope to see you there, if not, why not sign up. Details on affiliates4u which is listed in our blogroll.
